The Highlands

We were on the road at 9.30 am with blue skies, and we just had to enjoy more of those wonderful mountains.  We even had our picnic in sunshine albeit a little windy!!  We drove over the Skye Bridge - we were on the Isle of Skye, more rugged mountains, more mountain streams, more water falls AND the highland coos (cows)!  We drove to the end of highway 87 into the town of Uig, nestled in a bay - it is beautiful.  We had an equally awesome drive back again through more of the mountains, you just cannot get tired of these views.  Did I mention the heather?  Well there is plenty of that too, mad 'bevans' riding push bikes, plenty of motor bikes out today enjoying these magnificent roads and last 'but by no means least' people walking!!  It was another memorable day and we stopped in a cozy Scottish pub for tea in the town of Drumnadrochit.  Here we are back in our B&B at 8 pm.  Now to get this away to all you fans out there, we are beginning our oddysey down to Edinburgh where we will meet up with my school pal Helen.  More photos and love & hugs xoxoxo

Our picnic by a loch,  love the mountains,  the highland coo!
